What The Heck Is A Paraben And Why Should You Care?
It’s no secret that many products contain parabens. In fact, many of the products you use on a daily basis like cosmetics, hair care, and most major brands of deodorants contain parabens — they’re virtually impossible to escape.

Paraben is a scientific term that describes a type of chemical used as a preservative in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry.

Don’t be misled by some article saying something is REALLY harmful without looking at all the facts.
However, if you find medical study after medical study and mountains of information on the dangers of an ingredient, then you might want to start paying attention.
Many people try to avoid using products with parabens and you’ll find some compelling information regarding the dangers of parabaens. In fact, the FDA, all though they say and I quote:
“….FDA believes that at the present time there is no reason for consumers to be concerned about the use of cosmetics containing parabens”
They do however confirm on the FDA website that there are scientific studies which do link parabens to cancerous tumors and even breast cancer!
Hmmm… We might want to exercise some caution!
